Water should be free for all restaurant visitors, said Sergey Mironov, Vice-president of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia, the ombudsman of the Moscow restaurant business, in the press center of the NSN.

"If we could do it at the legislative level, it would be right, because a person may just need a glass of water to wash down a pill, and the water should be free. Plain water, which is from under the filter, should definitely be free," Mironov said.

Earlier, he told the NSN press center about the reasons for the increase in prices for meat and fish in the capital's restaurants. According to him, it is more profitable for a domestic producer to supply meat and fish products to China or Japan due to high logistics costs within the country.
