The new services will deepen and expand the interaction of the restaurant with the aggregator. What other opportunities does the electronic tipping market offer for all participants in the process?
"Given a certain culture that in Russia involves leaving a tip to a restaurant employee, sometimes this causes some inconvenience to visitors, because they do not have cash with them. Now QR codes, in order to leave a tip, are, according to my subjective estimates, in half of the restaurants in Moscow and St. Petersburg, in the regions a little less, but it's a matter of time," said Ivan Fedyakov, CEO of Infoline.
According to the expert, the cooperation "Yandex.Food" and "Netmonet" are mutually beneficial. "The cooperation of such companies has an obvious mutually beneficial partnership. Because some restaurants are covered by the Yandex.Food service and cooperate with it, some are not. Just the base of institutions cooperating with Netmonet will allow Yandex to expand the number of partners and, accordingly, vice versa. The second point is that the restaurant's interaction system with the aggregator is becoming more and more profound. The system also assumes financial relationships, but not only. The use of such commissions would allow to deepen and expand the interaction of the aggregator with the restaurant," he says.
In addition, Fedyakov is confident that the cooperation of services will be useful for restaurants as well. "Another point is the removal of feedback. And through Yandex.Food, and through Netmonet, you can withdraw, that is, evaluate the customer's loyalty to this institution, and this is not only in money, but you can also make estimates. And for the owner of the restaurant, this is quite important information. On the basis of this, he could build a loyalty system inside the restaurant for his staff, improve the quality of service, improve service," he concluded.
The synergy of the two services is also discussed in Yandex.Food. "Thanks to the partnership, institutions will not only be able to seamlessly use our products together, but also receive additional benefits from this," explained the commercial director of Yandex.Food" Natalia Loza.
