meet by clothes

Many of us remember the days when restaurants had a strict dress code.

Now it is rather the rarest exception.

I myself encountered this for the last time, probably about 7 years ago: when in Egypt I tried to go to a restaurant in a T-shirt.

There they immediately dragged me a shirt from somewhere and offered to put it on (apparently, this happened here often). In Russia, I haven’t heard about the dress code in restaurants for a long time. True, maybe I myself dress decently.

Ah, yes! Although we still have face control in nightclubs and bars, where (as in the 90s) rude bouncers still stand at the entrance and simply turn people around without any explanation. And the fact that this is contrary to the law of the Russian Federation never interests anyone.

But on the contrary, I am very interested in why the state authorities do not pay attention to this?

Yes, a guest may not be allowed into the establishment. But the grounds for this should be officially spelled out in the rules of the institution, and the consumer at the entrance must be familiarized with them, explaining why he will not be able to enter here.

Otherwise, the rules of the public offer apply to the institution, and the guest cannot be refused entry and service.

But back to our restaurants: we often have quite exotically dressed guests, and this is especially true for girls, who indescribably delight the male part of the visitors, but the part of the female audience is of extreme concern.

So, do restaurants need to introduce any restrictions and prescribe them in the rules, or is all this already an anachronism and you shouldn’t bother? - Sergei Mironov asked the opinions of the audience of his social networks.
