slightly slower prices

Restaurateur Mironov listed the factors influencing the increase in prices in restaurants

Sergey Mironov, Vice-President of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers, commented on the information that Russian restaurants have announced a 15% price increase in 2022.

On the air of the Public News Service, he said that this could also be caused by the growth of currencies and the coronavirus pandemic.

"The first factor is covid. Somewhere production stopped, something was produced less, and the product rose in price for this reason. The next factor is logistical. That is, some countries are closed, some countries do not carry products. Supplies from other countries are not enough for the market, respectively, entrepreneurs who supply goods simply raise prices. Well, the third, probably the most understandable factor is the growth of currencies. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of imported products," Mironov said.

According to him, in this case, those restaurants that are not strongly tied to imported products and were able to switch to Russian meat and fish will win, 360 TV channel reports.

Restaurants will raise prices as much as prices will affect the cost of these factors, he added.

Earlier it was reported that every tenth Russian (11%) is ready to visit the capital for dinner at a restaurant marked in the Michelin guide.
